Debit Cards

We accept Visa, Master, Maestro and Rupay debit cards issued in India. We also accept ITZ cash card.

Notes :

To pay through your card, you will need your card number, expiry date, 3-digit CVV number and the 3-D secure password. CVV and 3-D secure password provide greater protection while making payments through your card.

CVV stands for Card Verification Value and is a 3-digit number present on the back of your card. While making payments using your credit or debit card, Demoport doesn’t store your card details. This is to enhance the security of your transaction.

For Amex cards, please enter the pin code of the billing address registered with your card. American Express uses this information as an additional security measure to approve the transaction.

Once you fill in your card details, you will be redirected to your bank’s website from the payments page, where you will have to enter the Verified by VISA password for VISA or SecureCode password for MasterCard.

3-D secure password is an additional password that you will be asked after entering your card details on the payments page. 3-D secure password is an RBI-mandated procedure to ensure safer online transactions. This prevents misuse of a lost-stolen card as the user will be unable to proceed unless they enter the password associated with the card, created by the actual owner of the card and known only to him.

The 3D Secure Password adds an additional layer of security and is implemented by VISA and MasterCard in partnership with the card issuing banks.

Credit Card EMI

You can avail the EMI facility and make payment in EASY MONTHLY INSTALLMENTS if you hold a credit card issued by any of the following banks.

CITIBANK, HDFC BANK, ICICI BANK, SBI, AXIS BANK, STANDARD CHARTERED, HSBC, INDUSIND BANK, KOTAK, RBL BANK
You can also avail EMI facility if you have an ICICI Bank-issued Debit Card.

On the Payment Selection Page, click on the Easy EMI button, and you will be taken to the secure page of our Payment Service Provider. Details of the lending banks and the EMI tenure plans will be displayed on that page.

Minimum purchase value for availing the EMI facility is Rs.2,500.00 for tenures of 3,6,9 and 12 months.

Select your convenient plan and enter your credit card details and now you will be redirected to your Bank's website to complete the process.

EMI facility is offered only for purchase of products listed on Demoport and cannot be used to purchase Demoport e-Gift Coupons. Demoport does not charge any processing fees or other charges for availing EMI options offered by the aforementioned banks.

Approval of EMI

If your EMI transaction is not approved, this may be due to the following reasons

Your bank has the discretion to either approve or reject an EMI offer on the basis of your eligibility for the same, as determined by your bank. Once you choose the EMI option, your bank instantaneously decides whether you are eligible for EMI and communicates either an approval or a rejection to Demoport.

If rejected, the order will be cancelled on Demoport and you can place a new order by choosing a different payment method. You can also approach your bank to understand why your EMI plan was rejected and how to resolve it.

EMI Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to any transactions made using EMI as a payment option on Demoport.in

Demoport facilitates EMI payment on all purchases worth Rs.3,000.00 and above made on www.demoport.in using the banks mentioned herein.

This EMI option is available only if the cart contains items from a single seller.

EMI purchases need to be made on a single credit card and cannot be split across multiple cards.

The EMI facility is only available for select products listed on Demoport. Whether a product is eligible for EMI is clearly mentioned in the respective product details pages.

This EMI facility is only available for credit card holders of the banks mentioned herein and is not available on purchases made using Debit Cards, Net Banking and other payment methods.

Full purchase amount will be charged on your card on the day of transaction and your first EMI will start from the subsequent billing cycle.

EMI options are offered by the respective banks to the buyers directly and Demoport has no role in the approval, tenure, interest rates, pre-closure, closure or any matter incidental thereto pertaining to the EMI offerings, which is decided at the sole discretion of the respective banks.

The EMI facility offered by the respective banks is governed by the terms and conditions of each bank / issuer and the buyer needs to approach the bank / issuer in case of any complaints, disputes or enquiry about such transactions.

All applicable taxes, in force, will be levied by the respective banks on EMI transactions as mandated by the laws and regulations during the currency of this EMI.

Approval or rejection or modification of the EMI facility, at any time, is at the sole discretion of the issuing bank based on their prevalent terms and conditions. In such events, customers must follow up with their banks and Demoport shall not be responsible for decisions taken by the banks in this regard.

Demoport reserves the right to stop facilitating this service on www.demoport.in without any prior notice.

Demoport puts it best efforts to display indicative EMI related information (EMI amount, RoI, Total amount payable) for the customers’ purchase on the website as per the information received from the respective banks. However, Banks / Service Providers are the authoritative source for such information and buyers are advised to directly contact their respective banks / Service providers for any clarifications or confirmation in this regard.For detailed information, we request the buyers to review the terms and conditions of the respective banks offering the EMI facility.

Demoport shall not be held liable for any disputes arising out of or in connection with such EMI facility being offered by the respective banks / Service Providers, including but not limited to the authenticity and / or accuracy of any information pertaining to this EMI facility furnished by the banks to Demoport for displaying on its website.

Wallet

Digital wallet is increasingly becoming a convenient option to do secure online transactions with high adoption levels. Presently, we have tied up with Paytm and PayU, RBI-approved digital wallets that enable fast and secure online transactions.

e-Gift Coupons

Promo Codes

In case you have a promo code, you can redeem the same after placing your chosen product/s on the cart. Redemption of Promo Codes shall be subject to terms and conditions that govern these redemptions.

Offline Payments

Demoport takes the best possible precautions to ensure that online payments made on the Website are convenient, safe and secure. Therefore, we recommend that you make payments online and we also actively discourage offline payments made outside of the Website.

However, if you prefer to make an offline payment for any reason, you can make the payment with the Seller directly, at your discretion and risk. Offline payment transactions (including but not limited to cash, cheque, DD, POS equipments) are outside the purview of Demoport and in such events, Demoport will have no control over the order fulfillment and therefore cannot be held responsible for the same.

Redemption of e-Gift Coupons and Promo Codes are enabled only for online payments made through the Website. Offline payments are not eligible for such redemptions.

Reasons for Transaction Failures

Payment transactions made on Demoport.in may sometimes fail or remain pending due to multiple reasons as detailed here below.

You entered incorrect debit/credit card details like the name on the card, card number, CVV and expiry date. In case of AMEX card, the transaction could fail if the billing address pincode is wrong.

The card details provided by you are no longer valid or need to be updated.

You have exceeded your credit limit or may not have sufficient funds.

The transaction has been classified as suspicious and is hence blocked.

Your bank is going through an outage.

You accidentally closed/refreshed the page or pressed backspace while the transaction was being processed by your bank.

The connection between Demoport and your Bank failed due to some technical reasons and the transaction could not be completed.

Your card has been blocked for online transactions.

You may be using a card that is not accepted on Demoport.in at the time of your transaction.

Your internet connection might have been disrupted in the process.

If you made the payment using net banking, we may be awaiting the payment confirmation from your bank. This sometimes can take a few days. You can contact your bank for a status update.

If your account gets debited after a transaction failure, the said amount will be credited back to your account within 10 working days.

Security is of paramount importance to us and we are therefore fully committed to ensuring security of all information provided through our Website and transactions conducted on our website.

Rest assured that all information pertaining to your card or account is fully encrypted while it travels over the internet and therefore safe and confidential always.

Handling of financial information

Demoport never collects or stores your card and account information. Your transaction is authorized at multiple points, first by the Payment Gateway Integrator and subsequently by the issuing banks without any information passing through us. However, we monitor and review transactions on an on-going basis, to identify potentially fraudulent situations and take appropriate corrective steps to mitigate/limit any damage caused or likely to be caused on account of the same.

Do not share your personal information

Demoport will never request you to disclose or verify any of your information including payment details over email or phone. Please do not share your credit/debit card or account information with anyone even if he or she claims to be from Demoport. We urge our customers to completely disregard such requests and immediately report the same to us at [email protected].

Authentication and Session Management

We require all users to authenticate each time they undertake a booking or financial transaction and have set inactive/idle sessions time out after 15 minutes. Passwords are never stored in the database.

Other precautions adopted by us

We use Secured Socket Layer (SSL) to receive and transmit all kind of information including buyer bookings, sharing of bookings with the Sellers and payment transactions.

Your account information is stored on secure servers and information is encrypted wherever possible. Encryption converts your information into bits of code that are securely transmitted over the internet. This scrambled data cannot be read as the information travels over the internet.

When you transact on our Website, you are assigned dedicated credentials (User Name/Password) and then these credentials are used to allow access to your account.

Marketplace

A first-of-its-kind hyperlocal marketplace, Demoport connects you to genuine brand-authorized sellers operating in your area at the pre-sale stage and thereby gives you the opportunity to gain authentic information, discuss prices and take informed buying decisions.

Price basis

The Maximum Retail Price (“MRP”) of the products and services, that is inclusive of all applicable taxes, will be listed on the Website. In the event of a seller making available his ‘Final Offer Price’, the same shall be displayed along with the MRP.

While we put our best efforts to ensure that this information is accurate, there may be instances where the MRP of the product delivered is different from the MRP mentioned on the website. This could be due to various factors including time lag in updating the changed prices, product belonging to a different batch etc.

For products that are not covered under the MRP Act, the prices as determined by the brands or sellers are listed on the website.

Prices of certain products or services may not be listed on Demoport due to the wide range or nature of customization of these products. In such cases, the Sellers will provide the prices when you make an enquiry or book a demo / deal request with Demoport.

Change in price

MRP of all the listed products are updated as and when there is a change in the prices. The offer price made available by the Sellers may also be updated from time to time. Placing an item in your cart does not reserve the price shown at the time you chose to place it in the cart. It is possible that an item’s price may decrease or increase between the time you place it in your cart and the time you purchase it.

Final price and terms

The final purchase price of the products or services will either be the MRP mentioned on the Website or lesser than that, depending on the market policies of the respective brands or Sellers. The final price, if lesser than the MRP, may either be displayed on the Website or shared by the respective Sellers when you book an enquiry, free demo or deal request on Demoport.

Other charges, as applicable, are to be finalized between the buyers and sellers during their offline interactions.

All statutory information shall be shared by the respective Sellers as mentioned on the Products and/or on its packaging in accordance with the applicable laws.
